{"id":3713,"date":"2021-05-16T14:22:08","date_gmt":"2021-05-16T05:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/?p=3704"},"modified":"2021-05-16T14:34:25","modified_gmt":"2021-05-16T05:34:25","slug":"characteristics-of-the-lung-microbiome-of-covid-19-patients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/en\/characteristics-of-the-lung-microbiome-of-covid-19-patients\/","title":{"rendered":"Characteristics of the lung microbiome of COVID-19 patients\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A group from IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Bologna, Italy has reported on differences in lung microbiome between COVID-19 patients and COVID-19 negative persons.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-021-89516-6\">https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-021-89516-6<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Several indexes have been developed to discuss about similarity among groups and characteristics of each group.<br \/>\nSimilarity Percentage analysis highlighted that the lung microbiome of COVID-19 patients was characterized by a higher relative abundance of Pseudomonas spp. compared to COVID-19-negative persons.
