These beta sheets consist of antiparallel strands, with one beta sheet formed by six long, flat beta strands and the other by seven curved strands.The arrangement of dimers and tetramers in the quaternary structure was predicted.<\/p>\n<p>Glycan array experiments indicated that Cvill exhibits affinity for terminal \u03b1-mannosyl residues and the tri-mannosidic core of N-glycans.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-300x145.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"145\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-13809\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-300x145.png 300w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-600x289.png 600w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-1024x494.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-768x371.png 768w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-1536x741.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-1000x482.png 1000w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-230x111.png 230w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-350x169.png 350w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin-480x232.png 480w, https:\/\/www.emukk.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/civill-lectin.png 1623w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cvill demonstrated dose-dependent cytotoxicity against all tested cell lines and this toxicity was carbohydrate-mediated. Cvill presented IC<sub>50<\/sub> values of 97.0 \u03bcg\/mL after 48 h incubation period for HeLa ells.
